FALL FOLIAGE TOUR

Tour level: easy – only a bit of walking in rough terrain at high falls when viewing
The Beauty of the Fall Landscape on Highway 17, north of the city is breathtaking along the water,
and inspires many artists and photographers this time of the year.
We will leave the Walmart North parking lot at 8AM and travel Hwy# 17, enjoying the beautiful colours
along our way. Our first stop will be at the Voyageur Lodge in Batchewana for an included personalized
size treat and story from owner Frank O’Conner. We will also stop in Batchewana at Agawa Indian
Crafts and Canadian Carver for a quick shopping break. For refreshment for the day bring your
reusable water bottle.
We should arrive in Wawa midday for an included lunch, at the Wawa Motor Inn Restaurant, the Wawa
Goose Bar & Grill. After lunch we will visit the Highland Blueberry Farm and include viewing of
the High Falls.
Our last stop will be for a break at the Agawa Visitors Centre in the Lake Superior Provincial Park
to take in the displays on a self guided tour.
We will be back home in the Sault in the early evening.
Tour includes:
Deluxe motor coach transportation, fully escorted by a Sunshine Travel Club Tour
Director, lunch, sightseeing as described.
Insurance protection is recommended, but not included. Coverage can be purchases separately
through an insurance provider.
