A unique adventure unpacking only once to see a far away city and surrounding area by air. This year we chose the Lonestar State of Texas with the colourful city of San Antonio, the “American Venice”. An experience that balances inclusions with free time to explore on your own.
Tour Activity: Active. – Walking tours included with elevation and variety of terrains throughout the day
Saturday, October 05th – Today is a travelling day, where we will meet your Sunshine Travel Club Tour Director and Sunshine Group at the Sault Ste Marie Airport and travel to San Antonio. This is an extra pre-night’s accommodation for the tour.

Sunday, October 06th - A full day of leisure (your Sunshine Tour Director will come with ideas, which will include a group lunch until you gather to meet your Collette Tour Director and Collette Group in the evening for a Welcome Reception.

Monday October 07th - Your day begins with sightseeing in the city of San Antonio including boarding a boat and touring along the Paseo del Rio River, as well as a visit to the Alamo Plaza, and El Mercado, the Mexican Market Place, and finish with leisure time.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Tuesday October 08th - Today you travel for an excursion to the German settlement of Fredericksburg to the National Museum of the Pacific War.

Wednesday October 09th - This morning we stay in the city and it is your choice to visit the “Texas Heritage Center at the Witte Museum” dedicated to learning about the life of the people or stroll the “Botanical Gardens” with expansive plant exhibits. Then as a group you will explore the historic Pearl District. This evening you will enjoy a farewell dinner at a local Restaurant to highlight our visit.

Thursday, October 10th – Today we take our memories and make our way to the airport after breakfast to fly home.

Tour Includes: Airfare Transportation with Air Canada from Sault Ste Marie to San Antonio with group seat selection and baggage fee included. 5 night’s accommodation. Sightseeing, Meals and host as per Collette Vacations brochure. Escorted by a Sunshine Travel Club Tour Director with minimum passengers booked. Not included are coach driver and Collette host gratuities.
**Our Air Schedule is determined when we can block our group Air space once we have secured deposits for at least 10 people.
We need to sell our limited available seats to have the Sunshine Travel Club Tour Director accompany the group.
A photocopy of your valid passport is required to book this package. SPECIAL REGISTRATION FORMS ARE ALSO REQUIRED. Sunshine registration forms required on registration day, but deposit will be taken in at the office.

Their Holiday Protection package price is $249.00 which will be added to the non-refundable deposit of $698 due at the time of booking in the office.
