Tour level: Easy – limited distance walking, except for Fire Tower Climb for views and around
Lodge
We welcome you to join us as we take in the Beautiful Fall Colour views to the scenic
area of Elliot Lake, following Highway 17 East.
We will meet at the Walmart North Parking Lot, for a departure at 8:00 am. We will stop for
a morning coffee break, snack and visit (included) at the Timber Village Museum in Blind
River. The Museum showcases local art and history exhibits, as well as a gift shop that offers
unique artisan goods, souvenirs, maple syrup, and much more!
We will continue to travel east through Serpent River, and then North to Elliott Lake, stopping
at the Miners Memorial Park for a brief viewing. Then on to the Elliot Lake Fire Tower for a
picture stop. We then have a delicious Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner (included) at the
Laurentian Lodge. The scenery in this area is Breathtaking!
We'll take the quickest route back to Tim’s in Thessalon for a brief stop, then head to
Forestland Clothing & Gift Shop.
A late afternoon arrival home is expected.
Tour includes: Deluxe Motor Coach transportation, Fully Escorted by a Sunshine Travel
Club Tour Director, Snack and entry at Timber Village Museum. Luncheon at Laurentian
Lodge, Sightseeing as described.
Cancellation Insurance protection is recommended but not included. Coverage can be
purchased separately through an insurance provider of your choice.
