Tuesday, May 20th– We depart Walmart parking lot at 8:00 am and make our way as far as “Peterborough” today with the usual stops along the way, for an overnight.

Wednesday, May 21st – We will make our way and arrive at the “Kingston” waterfront in time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon we will visit the “Bellevue House”, built by a prominent Kingston tea merchant. Then a little free time before we gather in the early evening for a 3 course “Sunset Dinner Cruise” to view the “Thousands Island of the St Lawrence River”.

Thursday, May 22nd – We will gather in the morning for a guided walk to visit the historic “City Hall”, which was built in 1841, which is still a functioning seat of local government. Memorial Hall (once a grand ballroom) and the spectacular City Council chamber offer a unique glimpse of Kingston’s storied past. View the stained-glass windows depicting battles and the police museum in the dungeon. Then a walk through the “Kingston Market Square”, a location often used for the filming of the "Detective Murdoch Mysteries Series". Then we will board the bus for an included gourmet lunch at the fancy “River Mill Restaurant”, in a historic building overlooking the serenity of the Cataraqui River. A little down time in the afternoon to explore and have dinner on your own. In the evening, we will have an excursion take in a live stage performance at the “Thousand Islands Playhouse” near the village of “Gananoque”.

Friday, May 23rd – Today we begin our exploring with a tour at the Historic “Fort Henry” and stay for the “Rifle Firing Demonstration” and have lunch on your own at the “Battery Bistro” on site. From here we will bus back to join the “City Trolley Tour” for a 1 hour guided tour of the downtown historic and shopping district. The afternoon is at leisure before joining the group for dinner at the “Renaissance Restaurant” located in a former Church sanctuary dating back to 1837, combining this historic charm with modern elegance.

Saturday, May 24th – After breakfast we will depart for living museum “Upper Canada Village” for a day of exploring the rural English Canadian lifestyle during the St Lawarence Seaway Development and transporting you back in time. We will make our way from here to “Kanata” for our last overnight next to the expansive “Cataraqui Centre Mall”.

Sunday, May 25th - Today we make our way home via North Bay to Sault Ste Marie. We should expect an early evening return to Walmart.
