During this time of year, the Christmas lights in Quebec are prominent as the region prepares for the holiday season. Stays in Mont Tremblant, Montreal, and Quebec City offer opportunities to see winter landscapes, as well as explore Quebec's culture, architecture, and cuisine.
Monday, November 30th – We leave Walmart at 8:00 am, heading east to Quebec with our first night in Pembroke. Dinner is included upon arrival.

Tuesday, December 01st – After breakfast we will make our way to Mont Tremblant. We will stop in the quaint town of St Albert on route where we will have a short tour of Fromagerie de St Albert where they make delicious cheese curds. Lunch is included. This afternoon we will take in the Panoramic Gondola to the summit of Tremblant and admire the 360° view of the surrounding Laurentian Mountains and valleys. Once we check into our hotel, enjoy après ski activities for the evening as our hotel is at the foot of the ski hills. Dinner is on your own tonight. We are spending 2 nights in the heart of the picturesque, Mont Tremblant Village.

Wednesday, December 02nd – Today is the driver's day off. Guests can explore the village area near the hotel at the base of Mont Tremblant. The village provides access to boutique shopping and restaurants, either within walking distance or via a nearby shuttle service. Winter sports such as skiing or luge are available for observation. In the evening, Tonga Lumina offers a 1.5 km walking light trail. An early dinner is provided this evening.

Thursday, December 03rd – We travel to downtown Montreal for a two-night stay, perfect for exploring "Old Montreal". This afternoon, we visit the Sir George Etienne Cartier Historic Site for its “Victorian Christmas” event in a vintage-decorated home. After checking into our hotel, we'll tour Notre Dame Basilica and experience AURA, an impressive show of lights, music, and projections. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Friday, December 04th - After breakfast, visit The Grand Marche de Noel de Montreal (Christmas Market). Our motor coach will run between the hotel and market throughout the day for your convenience. In the afternoon, we will include a tour of the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens and Canada's largest indoor arena. Evening is free time, with dinner on your own.

Saturday, December 05th - After breakfast, we head to Quebec City and visit Erabliere du Lac-Beauport, a maple sugar shack in the Laurentian Mountains. After the tour and lunch, we check into our hotel near Old Quebec for a three-night stay. In the evening, following your own dinner, we'll attend a musical event at the Grand Theatre (performance TBA).

Sunday, December 06th – After breakfast, we will enter the walls of Old Quebec to visit the Quebec German Christmas Market. The itinerary includes entering at the Historic Chateau Frontenac and touring this landmark before visiting the market. The market features decorated wooden chalets, scents of cinnamon and mulled wine, and historic architecture in Old Quebec. Shuttle service to the hotel will be available throughout the day. Lunch and dinner are on your own today.

Monday, December 07th – After breakfast, we'll visit Montmorency Falls, which stands 83 metres tall, 30 metres higher than Niagara Falls. Take in stunning views from the included cable car. In December, experience Quebec City's festive spirit at Miracle au Maelstrom, where Maelstrom Saint-Roch transforms into a vibrant Christmas bar filled with decorations. Lunch and a Christmas-themed cocktail are included. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or optional activities.

Tuesday, December 08th – Following breakfast this morning, we will commence our journey to Ottawa. Upon arrival, guests will be accommodated at our hotel located in the Byward Market Area for the final overnight stay of the itinerary. In the evening, participants are invited to enjoy an included buffet dinner at Tuckers Market Place Restaurant, after which the evening’s featured activity will be the 'Lights across Canada' drive display, concluding the day’s scheduled events.

Wednesday, December 09th - Today we relax on our luxury coach, with our memories to talk over with our new friends, as we make the drive on the last leg of our journey to home. We will have the usual stops along the way and expect an evening return to Sault Ste. Marie.
