Our spring festival adventure has us visiting and exploring Hamilton, Niagara and St Jacobs areas. Our Festival is a one-day celebration of the Winery’s in the town of Beamsville which is a part of the Niagara Escarpment area. This festival features local wine. food and music to entertain us. The tour focuses also on Spring Theatre & Nature Highlights in this beautiful area of our province.
Wednesday, June 03rd – Our journey begins when we leave Walmart parking lot at 8:00 am. We will make our way to southern Ontario. Along the routes, usual stops, we will stop for a dinner break. Enjoy an included buffet meal and refresh ourselves before continuing to our hotel, for a comfortable four-night stay, providing us with an excellent home base for exploring the surrounding region and participating in the exciting, diverse spring festival tour activities.

Thursday, June 4th – We'll visit Niagara on the Lake to explore downtown and see a Shaw Festival matinee theatre performance “Funny Girl”.
Afterward we head to Niagara Falls for a welcome dinner at Table Rock Restaurant with scenic views of Niagara Falls. We will have a bit of time to explore here before heading back to our hotel.

Friday, June 05th – We will be exploring nature in the area starting with a visit to the "Royal Botanical Gardens" in Burlington, with an included catered box lunch and a rock garden tour. Then we will see the Rock Chapel Falls, on the way, for a visit to the "African Lion Safari Tour". Dinner location to be advised. We complete the day immersing ourselves, with a mystery theatre performance at the St Jacobs Country Playhouse featuring “Agatha Christies –" And Then There Were None”, before returning to our hotel for the night.

Saturday, June 06th - Today, is Festival day with the “Graze the Bench”. Celebrate Wine, Food & Music, over the different venues we will visit. We will include 6 tokens for tastings of wine or food samples. You can buy additional samples to satisfy you for the day at each venue. You will receive a souvenir glass and shuttle service in smaller groups between venues. You can buy additional samples at each venue. Each spring, wineries celebrate the glory of the "Beamsville Area Trail", which is known as the Bench by pouring new and favourite vintages, inviting their favourite chefs to create inspired dishes, and grooving with live bands. Each venue offers a different theme for the event. At the end of the day, we should feel quite joyful from sampling as we make our way back to our hotel.

Sunday, June 07th – After breakfast we will make our way home with the usual stops along the way and expect to have an evening return to the Sault.
